A PIN to pair each user is generated in the web interface of the specific equipment (2N® Access Unit Bluetooth or 2N® IP Verso for example) or in the 2N®Access Commander software. To enter the PIN into the application, the user must be near the external Bluetooth reader (typically located at the administrator’s PC or with a receptionist) with their smartphone to generate a pairing.
Alternatively a pairing time can be set up at the site whereby it allows the visitor or user to go to site and pair his device using a unique PIN provided to them within the defined time frame. Once paired the the one off PIN cannot be used again for pairing purposes.
